The T. A. Marryshow Community College is the principal provider of tertiary level training, education and human resource development in our Tri-island State. It aspires to develop and nurture the creativity and productivity of the citizenry and to prepare individuals to fill the training gap needs as they become evident. It prepares individuals for fulfilling lives, rewarding careers and lifelong learning while being an advocate for the enhancement of communities.

As a tertiary institution, it will promote intellectual discourse, the development of well-informed citizens who critically analyze and respond to the challenges facing our society. It will produce research, scholarship, innovation and educational excellence.

The College will provide a wide range of excellent programmes leading to various levels of certification through the effective utilization of resources, science and technology, and high quality committed faculty and staff.

Job Vacancy: Cleaner & Caretaker

The T.A. Marryshow Community College invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the posts of Maintenance Office/Groundsman at the Mirabeau Campus and Cleaner/Caretaker at the St. Patrick’s Campus.

The successful candidate for the post of Maintenance Officer/Groundsman at the Mirabeau Campus will be required to inter alia:

1.To assist in the implementation of the maintenance plan for the Mirabeau Campus;

2.To conduct regular inspections of lighting, electrical systems, air-conditioning, plumbing, drainage and waste-water service and the general infrastructure of the College;

3.To carry out repairs and additions to the infrastructure and facilities mentioned above to ensure that they are functioning effectively and efficiently at all times;

4.To clean efficiently and effectively the area around the Campus daily;

5.To remove garbage on the Campus and place in the designated bins for disposal by the Solid Waste Management Authority;

6.To cut grass and trees on the lands belonging to the Mirabeau Campus in accordance with a schedule development by the Campus Director and the Facilities Manager;

7.To maintain and repair the Campus perimeter chain-linked fencing;

8.To undertake activities that will beautify the ambience of the Mirabeau Campus in consultation with the Campus Director and the Facilities Manager; and

9.To undertake any other related duty assigned from time to time. 

The successful candidate for the post of Cleaner/Caretaker at the St. Patrick’s Campus will be required to inter alia:

  1. To clean efficiently and effectively the areas assigned;
  2. To clean all desks, chairs, telephones and cabinets in classrooms and offices daily;
  3. To remove waste from bins at least once per day;
  4. To clean and sanitize all toilets at least once per day;
  5. To sweep, mop and sanitize the floor of all classrooms and offices daily;
  6. To inspect and clean window sills and windows at least once per week;
  7. To clean standing fans once per week;
  8. To vacuum, where necessary, all rugs in offices at least twice per week;
  9. To stock all toilets with toilet paper daily;
  10. To requisition cleaning agents and other toiletries as needed; and
  11. To undertake any other related duty assigned from time to time.

Extended Registration at TAMCC St. Patrick's Campus

Attention TAMCC Community,

Please share TAMCC extended Registration at the St. Patrick's Campus for tomorrow Wednesday September 13, 2017 from 10:00am - 3:00pm.

No prerequisites needed. For example, no CSEC Subjects required neither a Secondary School Certificate. Interviews will be conducted. Basic literacy needed.

All programme duration are one (1) year and the total cost is $810EC. Payment plan available if needed.

Policy Regarding Change of Grade

CHANGE OF GRADE

 

In keeping with  our policy regarding Change of Grades please be reminded that - An "I" grade will be removed if the student completes the unfinished work by the sixth week of the following semester. If not an "I" is changed to "F" at the end of following that semester (Student Handbook, please view on our website).

INCOMPLETES 


An “I” may be submitted in lieu of a final grade when a student’s work in a course is satisfactory but not complete. An “I” grade will be removed if the student completes the unfinished work by the sixth week of the following semester. An incomplete, if not removed, is changed to an “F” by the end of the semester following the one in which the student received the “I”.

 

Please be guided accordingly.
