Inauguration of the Confucius Classroom




In March 2015, TAMCC and the Confucius Institute Headquarters in China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This MOU was the authority for TAMCC and Ningbo University of Technology (NBUT) in China to enter into a partnership to establish / implement a Confucius Classroom.

So in June 2015, TAMCC and NBUT entered into a Co-operation Agreement to establish a Confucius Classroom at TAMCC.



Purpose of the Confucius Classroom

The intention of the Confucius Classroom is to promote Chinese Language and Culture so as to build a bridge between Ningbo and Grenada, and to deepen the education co-operation and cultural exchanges between the two countries.


The Inauguration Ceremony

The inauguration will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015.

There will be a delegation coming from China to meet with TAMCC.

This will be the first official meeting since the two institutions became partners.

The signing of the Letter of Intent between the two institutions (TAMCC and NBUT) will take place.


Viewing of the Confucius Classroom by the Public

There is a Chinese Culture Experience Centre at the Confucius Classroom that is set up.

Persons from the public are welcome to come in to view the Centre after the Inauguration.


First Nine Week Exams



v   The First Nine Week Exams will be held November 2 – 6, 2015. Students who were given credit must ensure that their tuition is paid in full on or before exams.



v   Students will NOT be allowed to write exams if they are not registered for the course.


   Please be guided accordingly.

General Nursing Programme moved to S.G.U.

Please be informed that the government has taken the decision to move the General Nursing Programme to SGU. Students who are considering a degree in Nursing must apply directly to SGU.
TAMCC is asked to continue the Nursing Assistant programme and other specialized certificate programme such as midwifery.
