The diploma in Accounting Technicians also known as the Certified Accounting Technician programme (CAT) or Foundations in Accounting (FIA), is a part of the ‘Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ (ACCA), a global body of successful professionals in the finance and accounting field. This qualification will put our students on the fast track to success in an accounting career. This programme is designed to meet the strong and specific demand for qualified Accounting Technician professionals in all sectors, and to support the continuing development of those already in employment.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Persons who have studied principles of Business, Mathematics or Accounting up to Form 5 and have taken our diagnostic examination and earned 70% or above OR Mature Persons with 2 or more years of experience in the field of Accounting OR Persons with 5 CXC’s or higher academic awards OR Students who have completed the Technical Diploma in Accounting Clerk OR • Students who have completed the certificate of competence in Accounting Clerk or Level 2 CVQ in Accounting.
