This programme is designed to provide students with the relevant knowledge, skills and experience which will enable them to become professional journalists. It entails studies of the four journalistic platforms: print, radio, television, and new media/multi-media. It highlights on research, a core component of journalistic work, and also incorporates general education courses, which are all aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills that are needed for the world of work. At the end of the programme, students will be given the opportunity to immerse themselves in a practical media work environment through a final practicum.

5 CSEC/GCE subjects including English A. Qualification in certain specific subjects or work experience in the case of client specified programme.
