Grenadian Cricket Legend Donates Autobiography to TAMCC’s Library

The library at the T. A. Marryshow Community College proudly announces the addition of a new literary work to its library collection, thanks to a generous donation from local author and former West Indies Cricketer, Junior Murray MBE. The book, titled “Windball to Windies,” was officially handed over to the college’s library on Wednesday April 16, 2025.

Junior R. Murray, MBE is a distinguished figure in Grenada’s sporting history as the first Grenadian to play for the West Indies Cricket Team. He currently runs the Junior Murray Cricket Academy for young boys and girls in Grenada and continues to contribute meaningfully to Grenada’s involvement in the cricket arena regionally and internationally.

The donation highlights the College’s commitment to fostering a diverse and enriching learning environment, providing students with access to a broad range of perspectives and stories. The autobiography showcases the impact of hard work and determination through life’s ups and downs, aligning with the college’s mission to promote lifelong learning.

TAMCC congratulates Mr. Murray on the release of his autobiography and extends a heartfelt thanks for his addition Grenada’s recorded history and to our College’s archive of local authors.
