This programme prepares graduates trained in nutrition and dietetics to satisfy the basic needs of the country and possibly the region. The programme provides a solid academic educational base and practical training for a variety of career opportunities through positions in health care, business, government service, private practice, food service industries, entrepreneurship, educational and community programs as well as preparing students for higher education. Its purpose is to enhance the nutritional well-being and health of individuals, families and populations, through the promotion of learning in nutrition and dietetics.

5 CSEC subjects including English A and a related science subject (preferably Biology, Chemistry).
